Planner: Goals & Fuel
Auto-filled by the calculator above if enabled. You can override this any time.
These are general strategies most drivers can apply immediately.
Prioritize $/hour first, then $/mile
If your market has lots of idle time, a “good $/mile” can still be a bad day. Use both metrics together.
Stack short, high-density trips
Downtown / dense zones often produce better $/hour with fewer dead miles than long suburban runs.
Avoid long trips unless the numbers are great
Long trips often hide “return miles.” If you can’t stay busy where you end up, your effective profit drops.
Drive the best 2–3 time blocks
Rushes, lunch, events, and weekend nights can beat “all-day driving” with fewer miles.
Reduce dead miles
Reposition to demand (not random cruising). End trips near hotspots when possible.
Know your personal minimums
Set a floor for $/mile, $/hour, and minimum payout so you don’t burn miles on “almost good” offers.
